6th Grade Camp

An image of a teacher and students lined underneath a rock outcropping in the Hocking Hills

Jones Middle School offers a 6th grade camp experience for students each fall that allows them to get to know their new classmates and teachers, and participate in learning and skill-building opportunities outside of the classroom. This is a great time for students to challenge themselves to try new things, meet new people and experience nature.

Sixth grade camp is not mandatory, but we encourage all students to attend as this is an opportunity to have a shared experience with the classmates with whom they will be spending the school year.

We want to provide a camp experience that is inclusive for all students. If you have any questions about how this might look for your child, please ask!
